OpenDocBot for teams

Your model. Your data. Your Office agent.

From €5,000/year, billed annually. Prices exclude VAT. AI usage is billed directly by your provider.

Who it is for

OpenDocBot has the same features on the free and commercial tiers. The commercial license is about usage rights, support and commercial terms, not about unlocking a different product. OpenDocBot for teams is intended for:

  • Organizations with more than 30 people using OpenDocBot. If your team stays at 30 or fewer, you can use the free tier, including all features (self-hosting, SSO and managed configuration).
  • Organizations that need a commercial agreement, invoice, purchase order or vendor onboarding.
  • Teams that want a named support contact and help with deployment.
  • Partners and service providers that deploy OpenDocBot for clients or want to whitelabel it.

What the commercial license covers

The product does not change. A commercial license covers the right to use it beyond the free tier and, depending on the plan, adds commercial support and services.

  • More than 30 users: the free tier covers up to 30 users. The commercial license covers the rest.
  • Commercial terms: an annual agreement, invoice, purchase order and vendor onboarding.
  • Support: Team includes email support. Business adds priority email support and an onboarding call. Enterprise adds deployment support and custom terms.
  • Whitelabel: Enterprise includes the right to replace OpenDocBot branding with your own.

The product stays the same

Self-hosting, SSO, managed configuration, BYOK, local models, human-in-the-loop, skills and MCP are the same on every tier. They do not require a commercial license. See the license for the exact terms.

How it works

  1. Book a 20-minute intro. Tell us how many people use Office, where you want data processed, and what you need to deploy.
  2. Run a short pilot. We help you deploy, connect your identity provider if needed, and configure the provider for your team.
  3. Get an annual license. If OpenDocBot fits, we agree on the band and the commercial terms.

FAQ

Do you process our documents?

No. The hosted add-in runs in the user's Office client. Document content, selections and prompts go directly from the user's device to the AI provider they configured. OpenDocBot does not operate a proxy for the hosted add-in. If you self-host, you operate the server and any optional proxy yourself.

Do we need our own AI provider?

Yes. OpenDocBot is BYOK. You connect your own API key, cloud endpoint, gateway or local model, and you pay the provider directly. This is also why we do not mark up tokens.

Can we self-host?

Yes. OpenDocBot can be self-hosted anytime. Self-hosting unlocks SSO and managed configuration. See the self-hosting guide for further guidance.

Can we use Microsoft Entra ID?

Yes. SSO uses OIDC. See the SSO guide for the general setup, and the Microsoft Entra ID guide if you use Entra.

Does it work with Microsoft 365?

Yes. OpenDocBot is a Microsoft 365 add-in for Word, Excel and PowerPoint on desktop and web. It is independent from Microsoft and does not require Copilot.

What about support?

Email support is best-effort, with an average response time of 2 business days. There is no formal SLA. Enterprise agreements can include deployment support.

Can we whitelabel it?

Yes. Whitelabeling is part of the Enterprise plan. It includes the right to replace the OpenDocBot branding with your own name and logo.

Do you offer a DPA?

We can discuss data processing terms during the intro. Because the hosted add-in does not receive document content, prompts or API keys, the scope is limited. We do not publish a DPA template at this stage.

We need audit logs, RBAC or an admin console. Can you help?

Those features are not available today. We are working with early enterprise customers on administration and auditability. If they are blockers for you, tell us in the intro so we can scope them with you.

Is OpenDocBot open source?

OpenDocBot is fair-code and source-available. The code is public on GitHub, and the license explains what is free and what requires a commercial license.
